Sylvia commenced her professional career in immigration consulting in 1994, initially working for one of the largest immigration consulting firms in Sydney. Sylvia has thorough knowledge in handling all aspects of Australian Immigration law and extensive experience in dealing with Australian skills assessing authorities and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) both in Australia and overseas.

Sylvia established Global Connect Consulting Services in 1999. She specialises in handling all aspects of Business and Skilled Immigration law. She provides consultations to corporations and individuals on immigration issues. 

She is a registered migration agent and a member of the Migration Institute of Australia. Sylvia is also a Justice of the Peace.
